Leadership
Sisters Pat and Tonya Parker founded Native American Management Services, Inc. in 1992. They
are both members of the Choctaw Nation and have worked for the Indian Health Service. They support
our federal clients, and have worked with dozens of Native American tribes.
Leadership in the Native American business community is an important role for the Parkers.
President Pat Parker is Chairwoman of the Native American Women's Business Council, an Executive
Board member of the National Indian Business Association, and an Associate Member of the National
Foundation for Women Legislators. She is featured in the book Self-Made Millionaire Women,
Entrepreneurs 2002. Vice President Tonya Parker recently accepted an EPA/ORMA contract award,
presented to NAMS by EPA Administrator and former Governor of New Jersey Christine Todd Whitman.
NAMS staff is encouraged to participate in charitable projects sponsored by the company, to
pursue individual career and educational goals, and to live a balanced life. Family time,
particularly for working parents, is supported by company policy.
This supportive atmosphere infuses NAMS' relationships with clients and partners as well:
long-term relationships and effective task management are the result. Our corporate leaders
actively seek opportunities to enhance our clients' and partners' professional welfare.
